VERONICA NGO Teases Vietnamese Superhero Project VINAMAN

Vietnamese superstar Veronica Ngo (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) has put Vietnam action cinema on the map with The Rebel (2007), Clash (2009), and most recently Furie (2019), the country’s highest grossing film ever. Ngo now has plans via her production company, Studio68, to produce and tackle the superhero genre.

She recently teased the project titled Vinaman via Facebook:

“I think it is time for the Vietnamese market, where Vietnamese audiences need serious and well-invested films. It’s time for us to have our own superhero. And I believe Vinaman will do it,” said Ngo.

A casting call for the project will be held on October 4th and 5th in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Stay tuned.
