Charlie Hunnam straps on an incredible Green Arrow suit in the new concept design.
A new concept design shows off Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam donning a stunning Green Arrow suit for the DCEU.
Although Stephen Amell might’ve only just hung up the hood after an impressive run playing Oliver Queen on TV, a new design pictures Sons of Anarchy and King Arthur star Charlie Hunnam as Green Arrow for the DC Extended Universe. The actor seems to be the only candidate fans want to see as the archer on the big screen, as numerous designs of what Hunnam could look like in the role have flooded social media over the years. However, this latest art might be the best design yet.
The art comes from ‘saarukan.psd’ on Instagram and takes its cues from the DC Comics Icons Green Arrow statue, particularly with the armored braces and boots. The artist gives Charlie Hunnam a tactical suit of armor as well as a bulky utility belt. Although the Green Arrow and The Canaries series is still seemingly ready to go at The CW, it would be great to see Charlie Hunnam become the hero for the DCEU.
Would you like to see Charlie Hunnam become the Green Arrow in the DCEU? Should the hero get his own adventure on the big screen? Are you excited to see Green Arrow and The Canaries? Sound-off in the comments below!
You can read the official synopsis for the Green Arrow and The Canaries backdoor pilot below:
