Superman star Henry Cavill replaces Daniel Craig as the next James Bond in this slick redesign of the actor.
While most fans are looking forward to the release of Daniel Craig’s No Time To Die, many are wondering who will pick up the James Bond mantle going forward, since this will be the star’s last outing in the role. One name that occasionally crops up is Superman star Henry Cavill. The idea started around the time Cavill appeared in The Man from U.N.C.L.E. as CIA agent Napoleon Solo, and then again following his role in the wildly successful Mission: Impossible – Fallout as treacherous August Walker.
But most recently, Henry Cavill stars in Netflix’s Enola Holmes opposite Millie Bobby Brown and Sam Claflin as the world-famous detective, Sherlock Holmes. And with the release of a new poster for the Netflix film, ‘spdrmnkyxxiii’ on Instagram saw the opportunity to picture him as the next James Bond following Daniel Craig. It’s hard to deny that the Superman star looks the part, especially wielding 007’s iconic pistol, the Walther PPK. The artist even gave Daniel Craig’s replacement a perfect title for a future James Bond film. Take a look at Henry Cavill as the next 007 below.
What do you make of the art of the Superman star? Would you like to see Henry Cavill as James Bond? Are you excited to see Daniel Craig in No Time to Die? Sound-off in the comments below!
