See Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor For Chris Hemsworth’s ‘Love And Thunder’

Natalie Portman becomes Mighty Thor in the new design ahead of her role in Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Love and Thunder.

Although it’ll be a while until fans finally get to see Natalie Portman wield Mjolnir in Thor: Love and Thunder, a new design gives the star her Mighty Thor look from the Jason Aaron comics. It’s not yet clear if the sequel will adapt Jane Foster’s origin exactly as it happens in the comics, fans are still excited to see Portman get more to do than just be a simple love-interest. Although according to director Taika Waititi, there’ll still be plenty of romance in the Chris Hemsworth sequel.

The new Mighty Thor design comes from “jackson_caspersz” on Instagram, whose art gives Natalie Portman the masked version of the iconic helmet, while also offering a stunning look at the details on her costume. The art also teases her abilities as the new version of the Norse God as lightning strikes across the sky in the background. Hopefully we’ll get an official look at the star in costume when work properly begins on the Chris Hemsworth film. Take a look at the hero below.

Are you excited to see Natalie Portman return to the role of Jane Foster? What do you want to see from the sequel? Sound off in the comments and let us know!

Full details on the plot for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder are currently under wraps, though the film will be partly based on Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run, in which Jane Foster becomes the new Thor. Directed by Taika Waititi from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, and Christian Bale.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released on February 11, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more great video content!
