Here is a short film with a very interesting style to it.

‘Tatakai – The Battle’ carries that same level of martial arts action seen in a lot of high-quality short films, but what sets this one apart is the heavy focus on traditional karate movements, executed in an exciting hard hitting way.

This is something in martial arts that is heavily under-represented in film, usually exchanged for fancy acrobatic flips or sloppy technique for realism.  For a technical yet exciting fight, check out this short film which goes for a bit over 6 minutes.
